ACCOMMODATIONS
HACIENDA
Built between the 1830s and 1860s, this marvelous building houses our two dining rooms and four sitting salons, with fireplaces for warmth and guest relaxation. The adobe walls of the hacienda are more than two feet thick, providing natural cooling protection from the summer heat and warmth from the late night winter chill.
CANTINA
Known as the "Old Adobe", this is reputed to be the oldest building in the state of Arizona and has been occupied since the early 1700s and was built as a mission outpost, in what was then New Spain, to provide traveling Jesuit priests with supplies. Used as a gathering place since the 1920s, the cantina has a huge fireplace which was once open on both sides - one side for a blacksmith shop, the other as a gathering place for guests. Today the cantina is used for guest socializing, cocktails and appetizers before dinner; and after dinner for listening to music, card playing and enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the building.
GUEST ROOMS
The territorial-style ranch guest quarters, made from ancient clays of the ranch, are wonderfully serene, simply elegant and perfectly weathered. Our 21 adobe guest rooms are uniquely and vibrantly furnished with Mexican antiques. All rooms are ground level with separate entrances and private bathrooms. Each has a porch that opens to mountain views. Most rooms have a wood burning fireplace. All rooms are in close proximity to the pool, hot tub, corrals and dining areas. All rooms are non-smoking.
